Styx: How and Why I Believe JFK Was Killed (And RFK Too)

Styx has a theory about who killed both JFK and RFK. He also mentions the death of Marilyn Monroe as being related.

Spoiler alert: Styx believes that Oswald was in position as a guard to protect JFK from assassination.

This is probably his most viewed video.

If you find Styx distasteful, go to youtube and read the long comment trolling his eccentricities. It and the 75 replies are hilarious.

There are over 1,700 comments on youtube that bring up various aspects of the murder of the president. Most do not mention Israel.
Since Styx’s theory also leaves out Israel, this comment at youtube is interesting even though the mention of Israel is brief.

styx- the motorcade route was changed that morning by a “famous local” and israhell ordered the shots that killed jfk – because jfk wanted to peak into israhells nuclear bunkers- and the bay of pigs, the fed. and lbj and his Texas buddies were not okay with the the oil depletion tax act- hence bobby was taken out by the se eye a, . sirhan was mk ultra- was never close to bobby- he was taken out just for shits and goggles- and for similar reasons! Donald J. Trump on Twitter: “I will be releasing ALL JFK files other than the names and addresses of any mentioned person who is still living”

President Donald Trump Tweeted the above image eight hours ago as this post is being written.

He’s smart enough to know that conspiracy theories will not be “put to rest.” He was also smart enough to release everything.

What will be redacted (crossed through with black ink?) will be the names of George H. W. Bush and Ted Cruz’s father, if their names appear in any of the documents. There may be a few other people still alive from that long ago day of sorrow whose names will also be removed for now. Hopefully, their names will be restored once they too are gone.

The really important materials were probably destroyed in secret decades ago. If so, that’s not Trump’s fault.

UPDATED: Shock! KGB Blamed Kennedy Assassination on Lyndon Johnson, Feared Attack by American Military

Read the 2,800 pages of documents yourself at the government archives site.

Alright, everyone. We know now what the Russians were thinking thanks to material released on Thursday that the government hoped would never come to light.

If LBJ had Kennedy assassinated, he had help. It would be nice if the Russians now opened up their archives on the Kennedy assassination. They knew more than we can glean from yesterday’s release of material.

New York Post

The Soviet Union theorized that President Lyndon B. Johnson could have been behind JFK’s assassination – and also feared Moscow could be blamed and attacked, according to documents in a major release of files related to Kennedy’s slaying on Thursday.

The Dec. 1, 1966 FBI memo, which relayed unconfirmed speculation, noted that sources said the KGB “was in possession of data purporting to indicate President Johnson was responsible for the assassination of the late President John F. Kennedy.”

The memo, which was forwarded to the White House by FBI Director J. Edgar Hoover with the all-caps title: ““REACTION OF SOVIET AND COMMUNIST PARTY OFFICIALS TO THE ASSASSINATION OF PRESIDENT JOHN F. KENNEDY” said:

“KGB headquarters indicated that in view of this information, it was necessary for the Soviet Government to know the existing personal relationship between President Johnson and the Kennedy family, particularly that between President Johnson and Robert and ‘Ted’ Kennedy.”

In days following JFK’s killing, Moscow believed the slaying could be used by rogue American military leaders to whip up anti-Soviet sentiment and even lead to an attack.

Soviets feared dark US forces were “interested in utilizing the assassination and playing on anticommunist sentiments in the United States,” according to the FBI.

“Our source further stated that Soviet officials were fearful that without leadership, some irresponsible general in the United States might launch a missile attack on the Soviet Union.”

Oswald lived in the Soviet Union for nearly three years from 1959 to 1962 and married a woman from Minsk.

The release of documents was made to satisfy a 25-year deadline set forward by the Oct. 25, 1992 enactment of the JFK Assassination Records Collection Act.

However, many of the files were held back from release by President Trump after the CIA and FBI asked for more time to redact information that could cause “potentially irreversible harm.”

While Soviets believed JFK’s killing could have been engineered internally, LBJ saw a foreign link to the assassination.

Johnson would regularly say he believed JFK’s murder was payback for CIA involvement in the assassination of South Vietnam’s head of state, documents showed.

LBJ’s CIA director, Richard Helms, said in a deposition that Johnson wasn’t shy in sharing his own JFK conspiracy theories.

“President Johnson used to go around saying that the reason President Kennedy was assassinated was that he had assassinated President Diem,” Helms said during a April 23, 1975 deposition at Langley. Though the source didn’t say if Johnson ever said why he thought that.

South Vietnam’s autocratic leader Ngo Dinh Diem was arrested and assassinated in 1963 after a US-backed coup in the country.

Johnson was in JFK’s motorcade on Nov. 22, 1963 in Dallas when Lee Harvey Oswald opened fire from the sixth floor of the Texas School Book Depository.

LBJ was sworn into office later that day aboard Air Force One.

Oswald’s ability to squeeze off those shots has long been debated, with critics of the lone-killer theory believing he didn’t have great marksmanship.

But a 1967 FBI cable quoted a Cuban intelligence operative telling another of Oswald’s shooting ability, “Oh, he was quite good.”

When the other asked how he knew, that operative said, “I knew him.”

Oswald was a known supporter of Fidel Castro and was active in the “Fair Play for Cuba Committee,” which sought greater US support for the Havana regime.

I recall our local New Orleans TV news (WDSU, owned by the (((Stern))) family) taking the footage of Lee Harvey Oswald passing out fliers on Canal Street three months before the assassination.’

Eight minutes, including the TV news interview with Oswald. A must watch.

Excerpt from Reuters

U.S. President Donald Trump on Thursday ordered the unveiling of 2,800 documents related to the 1963 assassination of President John F. Kennedy but yielded to pressure from the FBI and CIA to block the release of other records to be reviewed further.

But as the deadline neared, the administration decided at the last minute to stagger the final release over the next 180 days while government agencies studied whether any documents should stay sealed or redacted.

I’m blocked from reading the story at the Dallas News, having used up my complimentary articles. Instead:

Excerpt from the Daily Mail

A document dated as May 1964, the CIA notes a conversation with Soviet leader Nikita Khrushchev, who said he didn’t believe American security was so ‘inept’ that Kennedy was killed without a conspiracy.

Khrushchev believed that the Dallas Police Department was an ‘accessory’ to the assassination.

The CIA source ‘got the impression that Chairman Khrushchev had some dark thoughts about the American Right Wing being behind this conspiracy’.

When the source said that Oswald and his eventual killer Jack Ruby both were ‘mad’ and ‘acted on his own… Kruschev said flatly that he did not believe this’.

The White House released 2,891 documents related to JFK’s assassination that have long been kept secret.

But some are being held back by the president, who said he’s allowing intelligence, law enforcement and military agencies to take the next six months to justify their requests to redact specific pages.

A White House official told during a conference call that while Trump wants to remove the ‘veil’ of secrecy regarding the 1963 killing, he has ‘no choice today but to accept those redactions rather than risk irreversible harm’ to the country.

Excerpt from CNN

The CIA mulled mafia hits on Cuban President Fidel Castro. Someone called the FBI threatening to kill Lee Harvey Oswald a day before Oswald’s murder. And the US examined sabotaging airplane parts heading to Cuba.

These assertions are some of many unearthed in newly revealed government documents related to the assassination of President John F. Kennedy.

GLP discussion thread on documents dump.

CIA, FBI Lobbying Trump to Block Release of Some JFK Assassination Files

First, I thought the last of the JFK files were going to be released already, so I’m not sure what’s up. NBC News just published a story stating that by law the government has until midnight to release the files, unless President Trump decides differently.

The Deep State lobbying at the last minute makes me suspicious that a psyop is taking place. There might be more than one way to interpret the bureaucrat’s lobbying, but I think they already destroyed any real evidence pointing to the final truth. This last minute nonsense is just a distraction as far as I’m concerned. Besides, Trump will look like a hero to conspiracy theorists if he rejects the CIA and FBI requests.

CBS News

There has been late lobbying by various agencies of the U.S. government asking President Trump to hold off on releasing some of the John F. Kennedy assassination documents.

JFK Assassination – News, Pictures, and Videos
The requests – some of which were registered a couple of months ago and some more recently — come from agencies throughout the government including the CIA and FBI.

Some of the worry seems to center around documents created in the 1990’s, when the congressional committee was crafting the legislation setting Thursday as the release date.

Multiple officials at multiple agencies tells CBS News there is concern the documents may reveal sources and operations from the near past and include current people or operations. Of particular concern, according to officials, are names in the documents.

CBS News’ Chip Reid interviewed JFK scholar Larry Sabato, at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center, who said he had been told that “at least most of it will not be released Thursday because not just the CIA, but apparently other agencies, unnamed — I assume the FBI is one — are appealing.”

Sabato says that the CIA wants some of the names in the documents redacted, and some of the paragraphs they say reveal the names of sources or methods used by the CIA.

Remaining Kennedy Assassination Files to be Released Today

Many white southerners were hostile to the Kennedy race-mixing agenda. They believed that a “southerner,” Lyndon Johnson, would back off.

Little did they know on November 22, 1963. But they would soon learn.

More than half a century after U.S. President John F. Kennedy was struck down by an assassin’s bullet in Dallas, Texas, the United States is due on Thursday to release the final files on the investigation into the killing that rattled a nation.

Academics who have studied Kennedy’s slaying on Nov. 22, 1963, said they expected the final batch of files to offer no major new details on why Lee Harvey Oswald gunned down the first and only Irish-American Roman Catholic to hold the office.

They also feared that the final batch of more than 5 million total pages on the Kennedy assassination held in the National Archives will do little to quell long-held conspiracy theories that the 46-year-old president’s killing was organized by the Mafia, by Cuba, or a cabal of rogue agents.

Thousands of books, articles, TV shows and films have explored the idea that Kennedy’s assassination was the result of an elaborate conspiracy. None have produced conclusive proof that Oswald, who was shot dead a day after killing Kennedy, worked with anyone else, though they retain a powerful cultural currency.

“My students are really skeptical that Oswald was the lone assassin,” said Patrick Maney, a professor of history at Boston College. “It’s hard to get our minds around this, that someone like a loner, a loser, could on his own have murdered Kennedy and changed the course of world history. But that’s where the evidence is.”

In 1992, Congress ordered that all records relating to the investigation into Kennedy’s death should be open to the public, and set a final deadline of Oct. 26, 2017 for the entire set to be made public.

President Donald Trump on Saturday confirmed that he would allow the documents to be made public.

The documents to be released on Thursday will likely focus on efforts by the Central Intelligence Agency and Federal Bureau of Investigation to determine what contact Oswald had with spies from Cuba and the former Soviet Union on a trip to Mexico City in September 1963, experts said.

“There was a real concern that Oswald was maybe in league with the Soviet Union,” Maney said.

Kennedy’s assassination was the first in a string of politically motivated killings, including those of his brother Robert F. Kennedy and civil rights leader Martin Luther King Jr., that stunned the United States during the turbulent 1960s. He remains one of the most admired U.S. presidents.

Any truly incriminating material has been destroyed. But no cover-up is likely to be perfect. Here’s hoping that as the weeks and months go back, at least a little more of the truth will be revealed.

Trump Plans to Release Classified JFK Documents

President Trump should see to it that all documents are released on October 26. It’s reasonable to expect that back in 63 the CIA and FBI conspired to destroy at least some evidence in conflict with LBJ’s official story.

CNN offers one assassination researcher’s thoughts in their coverage. Gerald Leo Posner is a pro-semite with a Jewish father. Posner’s view is that Oswald killed Kennedy by himself.

President Donald Trump said Saturday he intends to allow the release of classified government documents about the assassination of President John F. Kennedy “subject to the receipt of further information.”

Trump’s tweet comes as he is staring down an October 26 deadline set in law by Congress mandating the public release of the still-secret documents — including FBI and CIA files — barring any action by the President to block the release of certain documents.

“Subject to the receipt of further information, I will be allowing, as President, the long blocked and classified JFK FILES to be opened,” Trump said, appearing to leave open the possibility that some documents could still be withheld.

A White House official told reporters Saturday: “The President believes that these documents should be made available in the interests of full transparency unless agencies provide a compelling and clear national security or law enforcement justification otherwise.”

Republican members of Congress, including Senate judiciary committee Chairman Chuck Grassley, of Iowa, have urged Trump to allow the full release of the documents.

“No reason 2 keep hidden anymore,” Grassley tweeted earlier this month. “Time 2 let American ppl + historians draw own conclusions.”

Historians who have studied the assassination do not believe the documents will lead to any bombshell new conclusions in the Kennedy assassination, but the documents could shed more light on facets of the investigation and Oswald’s mysterious trip to Mexico City weeks before the assassination. Some have expressed concerns that the documents could be embarrassing to Mexico and damaging to US-Mexico relations.

Trump can withhold the release of certain documents if he believes their release could pose harm to US intelligence, law enforcement, the military or US foreign relations.

“There’s going to be no smoking gun in there,” Gerald Posner, the author of “Case Closed: Lee Harvey Oswald and the Assassination of JFK,” told CNN’s Michael Smerconish. “But anybody who thinks this is going to turn the case on its head and suddenly show that there were three or four shooters at Dealey Plaza — it’s not the case.”

“Oswald did it alone,” Posner continued. “But what the files are doing and why they’re important to come out is they fill in the history of the case and show us how the FBI and CIA repeatedly hid the evidence.”

Posner said that the conspiracy theories about the CIA and mob working together to assassinate a head of state are true — but the target was Cuban leader Fidel Castro, not Kennedy.

“They tried seven times and they couldn’t even wound him. … They couldn’t get rid of Castro, but somehow these same guys who were an ‘F’ there pulled off the perfect crime in Dallas, and 54 years later we can find not a shred of evidence about it. I just don’t buy it,” he said.

Ken Hughes, a presidential researcher at the University of Virginia’s Miller Center, told CNN the files could shed light on the US involvement in the attempts to assassinate Castro as well as the US-approved coup of South Vietnamese leader Ngô Đình Diệm in 1963.
“There’s a lot for conventional historians — we non-conspiracy theorists — to look forward to,” he said.

Wikipedia offers a lengthy article on assassination conspiracy theories, although I cannot vouch for its accuracy or completeness. More theorizing will be happening after the document dump this week.

Conspiracy or Accident? CIA Files on Oswald Missing from JFK Documents

There must be 100 different theories about who killed JFK. That works to the advantage of the real killers, whoever they may be.

Whatever the truth is, the evidence shows that the Deep State has long done its best to keep the public in the dark by promoting the lone nut gunman theory.

Alternet via Salon

All of the U.S. government’s files on the assassination of President John F. Kennedy are supposed to be released by October 26. But one batch of CIA records on suspected assassin Lee Harvey Oswald has gone missing.

The records were part of a seven-volume file on Oswald held by the agency’s Office of Security. The OS is responsible for protecting CIA property and vetting agency personnel, and maintains a file system independent of the CIA’s Central File Registry. Declassified CIA records show that Volume 5 of the file records existed as recently as 1978.

The disappearance of the records, discovered by JFK researcher Malcolm Blunt, is significant because the Office of Security was the first component of the CIA to open a file on Oswald, an ex-Marine who defected to the Soviet Union in October 1959 and was later charged with killing JFK in Dallas on Nov. 22, 1963.

The official story that Oswald acted alone is widely disbelieved. President Lyndon Johnson, First Lady Jackie Kennedy, Robert Kennedy, French president Charles DeGaulle, and Cuban leader Fidel Castro all privately concluded that JFK was killed by his political enemies, not by a lone assassin.

As a result, conspiracy theories have proliferated over the years, including President Trump’s bogus claim that Ted Cruz’s father was involved.

New JFK files

The disappearing Oswald file is the latest in a series of remarkable revelations that news organizations have found in long-secret JFK assassination files made public for the first time by the National Archives in July.

WhoWhatWhy reported on documents showing that the mayor of Dallas at the time of JFK’s assassination, Earle Cabell, was a CIA asset in the 1950s. His brother, Charles Cabell, was a high-ranking CIA official until 1962.

While the documents don’t show that Earle or Charles Cabell had any connection to JFK’s assassination, they do illuminate that the CIA’s extraordinary penetration of domestic American institutions extended to the city where JFK was killed. If anyone had said over the last 50 years that the mayor of Dallas in 1963 was a CIA asset, they would been derided as a conspiracy theorist. Now we know for a fact that he was.

Ian Shapira of the Washington Post plumbed the new records to recount the secret interrogation of Yuri Nosenko, a KGB intelligence officer who defected to the United States in 1964. Nosenko was detained without charges for four years in what would now be called a CIA black site.

The Nosenko affair (celebrated by HBO) was a key chapter in the CIA’s reaction to JFK’s assassination. James Angleton, the powerful chief of counterintelligence, suspected Nosenko had been dispatched by the KGB to conceal the Soviet ties to Oswald and the assassination. The interrogation of the “foul traitor” Nosenko failed to confirm Angleton’s conspiracy theory, according to the Post.

Writing for Politico, professor Larry Sabato and journalist Philip Shenon reported that one new CIA file showed that in the mid-1970s, one of Angleton’s top lieutenants came to doubt the Warren Commission’s finding that JFK was killed by Oswald, alone and unaided. Sabato and Shenon argue that the JFK investigation was “botched” and the possibility of a Cuban government involvement was ignored.

On AlterNet, I quoted extensively from the same records to show that the JFK investigation was not so much botched as “controlled’ by top CIA officials, including Angleton. The CIA made at least four false statements to investigators. The effect of these statements was to conceal what top CIA officers, including Angleton, knew of Oswald while JFK was still alive.

Collectively, the new JFK files pour more cold water on the “KGB did it” conspiracy theory, while encouraging questions about the “Castro done it” theory. Mostly, the new files illuminate how the CIA resisted investigation of Oswald after JFK was killed, and why the public, and CIA officials themselves, came to reject the official story of a lone gunman.

Officials of the National Archives have told AlterNet they will release thousands of pages of additional secret JFK records before October 26.
