GREENEVILLE, Tenn.—The Greene County Criminal Court murder trial of Mario Donte Keene was continued to Sept. 19 by Judge John F. Dugger Jr. Monday.
Meanwhile, another defendant in the same murder case, Amanda Kate Harris, has entered a guilty plea.
SMILING IN MUGSHOT, BUT NOT SMILING NOW.
White women who get mixed up with black males often end up dead or in prison. If you believe in the theory of telegony then those injections of Negro sperm will remain lodged in Amanda Harris’ body and brain forever.
Keene’s defense lawyer, Douglas L. Payne, filed a motion Monday morning in chambers before jury selection maintaining his client could not receive a fair trial because of information about the case contained in a newspaper article in the weekend edition of The Greeneville Sun.
Dugger polled the jury pool and asked for a show of hands to see how many potential jurors had read the article, or heard about published reports about the case from others.
After a significant percentage of jurors raised their hands, Dugger granted the defense motion for a change of venue.
The Keene trial will be held in Greene County with a jury made up of residents bussed in from an unspecified surrounding county, court officials said.
Keene, 41, and Amanda Kate Harris, 29, were each indicted by a Greene County Grand Jury on counts of first-degree murder, especially aggravated robbery and especially aggravated kidnapping in connection with the February 2014 death of 69-year-old Donald Ray Gunter.
The body of Gunter was found on Feb. 11, 2014, in his home at 554 Old Mountain Road. The crime was committed on Feb. 10, 2014, according to grand jury indictments.
Harris entered a guilty plea Friday to second-degree murder in Greene County Criminal Court.
She was sentenced by Dugger to a 25-year prison term.

Blacks prey upon the defenseless, such as the elderly Mr. Gunter. I wish that we could turn back the clock and offer him some sound advice relating to avoiding the groid, alarm systems, and a shotgun or other weapon useful for home defense.
It’s too late to help Mr. Gunter. But perhaps we can keep on keeping on with our race realism warnings about the criminality of blacks.
The role that the mudshark played in this case is unclear, but both of the lovebirds were seeking money to buy drugs according to other published reports.
According to Wikipedia, the town of Greeneville is just 5.6 percent black. It only takes one.
