Although Gavin McIness isn’t much of an alt-right guy, you may remember the happy moment in Washington, D.C. in January when he punched out a leftist who attacked him at Deploraball.
None of the boring speakers at today’s free speech event in Berkeley, California are true alt-right or even race realists. Richard Spencer and David Duke were notably not invited by the self-promoting Twitter people who did speak. The speakers list included Brittany Pettibone, Lauren Southern, Stickman, McIness, and Baked Alaska. All of them seem to be Civic Nationalists, although they at least support the Wall.
Although I personally was hoping that Louise Rosealma (aka hairy fetish model Venus Rosales) would show up and get another whupping, the antifa stood down in the face of the presence of a few tough guys today.
BERKELEY (CBS SF) – Hundreds of far-right protesters, some dressed in goggles, gas masks and knee pads, were rallying in support of conservative speaker Ann Coulter in downtown Berkeley.
Some at the rally at Civic Center Park were wearing combat gear, including military grade ballistic helmets and body armor. Dozens of police in riot gear stood by ready to crack down on violence as had been anticipated between provocateurs of both the alt-right and antifa (anti-fascist).
Many of the pro-Coulter protesters have “Build That Wall” or “Trump” stickers across their helmets and several are concealing their identities wearing mirrored ski goggles over their eyes.
As of 3:00 p.m. there was no sign of their antifa opponents, who have violently clashed with the far-right demonstrators previously in Berkeley.
