Black Guns Matter: The Movement to Put Guns into Black Hands to INCREASE Public Safety

MAJ TOURE, FOUNDER OF BLACK GUNS MATTER.

Do you think that arming blacks in a place like Chicago would make it safer if those blacks were trained to use firearms in self defense?

The Sun

A PRO-GUN campaigner says the wave of deadly gun violence in cities like Chicago can be tackled with more guns and better firearms training.

Maj Toure is the founder of Black Guns Matter, an organisation that aims to educate urban populations about their Second Amendment rights.

He claims more guns are the answer to America’s gun crime epidemic and believes that years of prejudice have convinced urban populations to associate guns with crime rather than defending themselves, their communities and their rights.

Maj, who was raised in north Philadelphia, said: “Growing up, people always told me that firearms were bad, and that if you have a firearm you either have to be the bad guy or you are law enforcement.

“That’s a lie. It’s just not true. The problem is the lack of information and education about firearms and safety in urban areas.

“There is a deliberate attempt to keep that information away from these highly populated areas because it’s not about gun control, it’s about people control.”

However, the Coalition to Stop Gun Violence claims stats suggest removing guns from cities works better, saying ‘guns make violent situations deadly’.

Maj, who formed Black Guns Matter in 2016, has been taking his message across the United States for the past year, visiting areas such as Atlanta, Baltimore and Detroit.

The 29-year-old has also visited Chicago, where there were 3,550 shooting incidents, 4,331 shooting victims and 762 murders in 2016.

Maj believes a greater understanding of laws and education around firearms in Chicago would bring more ‘respect for the tool’ and greater ‘trigger discipline’.

This along with better teaching of de-escalation tactics would help reduce gun violence.

Maj, who is not affiliated with the Black Lives Matter movement, said: “Clearly, gun legislation is not working. They have an extreme amount of gun control law and they still cracked 700 homicides last year.

“So what we do is inform the people better [about guns and the Second Amendment] to cut down on that.

“Information is always better than just legislation.

“A lot of times people in urban areas don’t even associate the Second Amendment with the hood.

“They associate the Second Amendment with guys in the military or crazy white guys down South.

“My job is to make sure that everybody understands the Second Amendment is for every citizen of America. It’s not my job to advocate more firearms. It’s my job to inform people about firearms.

“When you make something a taboo and you ignore it and pretend like it isn’t an issue, then there is no education and no knowledge – and a lack of knowledge is always dangerous.”

According to the American Trends Panel more than twice the amount of white people own legal guns compared to black people.

And while 51 per cent of people in rural areas own a legal gun, just 25 per cent of people in cities own a gun.

Black people were also two-and-a-half times times more likely to be shot by law enforcement than white people in 2015, despite black people making up 13 per cent of the population.

On his trips, Maj meets with community leaders in some of the poorest areas to educate people on their rights to bear arms.

Depending on state laws, they learn what rights they have against the police, sign up to get legal firearms and concealed and carry licenses, and also learn how to shoot properly.

As a conservative and a libertarian I’m for everyone exercising his gun rights. As a race realist, I fear that putting guns into the hands of blacks would be no different than putting them in the hands of children. There’s a lack of self control in the darker race.

What say you? Here’s a black man with a gun:

Black Professor Walter Williams on the Effects of the Liberal Attack on Moral Values

ONE EFFECT OF NO MORAL INSTRUCTION.
black thugs

Dr. Walter Williams, whom I briefly met during my career in economics, offers a politically incorrect explanation for black dysfunction today.

He graduated from high school in 1954 and notes that the world was a better, safer place for us back in the day. Then he explains why.

Excerpt from Lew Rockwell

Customs, traditions, moral values and rules of etiquette are behavioral norms, transmitted mostly by example, word of mouth and religious teachings. As such, they represent a body of wisdom distilled through the ages by experience and trial and error. The nation’s liberals — along with the education establishment, pseudo-intellectuals, and the courts — have waged war on traditions, customs and moral values. Many people have been counseled to believe that there are no moral absolutes. Instead, what’s moral or immoral is a matter of personal convenience, personal opinion, what feels good or what is or is not criminal.

We no longer condemn or shame self-destructive and rude behavior, such as out-of-wedlock pregnancies, dependency, cheating and lying. We have replaced what worked with what sounds good. The abandonment of traditional values has negatively affected the nation as a whole, but blacks have borne the greater burden. This is seen by the decline in the percentage of black two-parent families. Today a little over 30 percent of black children live in an intact family, where as early as the late 1800s, over 70 percent did. Black illegitimacy in 1938 was 11 percent, and that for whites was 3 percent. Today it’s respectively 73 percent and 30 percent.

It is the height of dishonesty, as far as blacks are concerned, to blame our problems on slavery, how white people behave and racial discrimination. If those lies are not exposed, we will continue to look for external solutions when true solutions are internal. Those of us who are old enough to know better need to expose these lies.

The Utter Stupidity of Obama’s Racial Quotas in Public School Punishments

Under Obama's rules they can't be punished even if they are violent.

Under Obama’s rules they can’t be punished even if they are violent. It’s because punishing them would be racist.

If in a school system somewhere, 100 black boys rape girls in school, while 5 white boys do the same thing, only 5 of the black boys can be punished. To punish all the black rapists would be racist. Alternatively, if all the black boys were punished, 95 white boys innocent of rape would have to be found and punished just like the blacks, so says the turd tyrant Obama.

Rather than try to close any real racial divide in America, scumbag Obama panders to black dysfunction in every way possible.

One insanity Obama has imposed on public schools relates to punishments meted out by school officials. Obama sees evil white racists everywhere, including among school administrators.

Thus, he has imposed racial quotas on school punishments. In other words, blacks cannot be punished at higher rates than other ethnic groups even if blacks commit more infractions of school rules or break more laws.

The implicit assumption behind punishment quotas is that white school administrators are racists who simply make up accusations against black students in order to satisfy their racist urges.

Who does Obama think he’s kidding? Most school administrators are liberals, committed to diversity, who bend over backward to give black students special privileges of all kinds.

A larger black boy fighting a small white boy. Obama says both must be punished equally even if the black started the fight and seriously injured the white boy. Alternatively, the white boy alone could be punished in order to meet Obama's racial quota in school punishments.

Lew Rockwell

If anyone still has any doubt about the utter cynicism of the Obama administration, a recent agreement between the federal government and the Minneapolis Public Schools should open their eyes.

Under the Obama administration, both the Department of Education and the Department of Justice have been leaning on public schools around the country to reduce what they call the “disproportionate” numbers of black male students who are punished for various offenses in schools.

Under an implicit threat of losing their federal subsidies, the Minneapolis Public Schools have agreed to reduce the disparity in punishment of black students by 25 percent by the end of this school year, and then by 50 percent, 75 percent and finally 100 percent in each of the following years. In other words, there are now racial quota limits for punishment in the Minneapolis schools.

If we stop and think — as old-fashioned as that may seem — there is not the slightest reason to expect black males to commit the same number of offenses as Asian females or any other set of students.

When different groups of human beings have behaved differently in all sorts of ways, in countries around the world, for thousands of years of recorded history, why would we accept as dogma that the only reason one set of students gets punished more than others is because the people who are doing the punishing are picking on them?

Politically — which is the way the Obama administration looks at everything — any time they can depict blacks as victims, and depict themselves as their rescuers, that means an opportunity to get out the black vote for Democrats.

On the surface, this may look like a favor to blacks. But only on the surface.

Thomas Sowell is a conservative thinker, widely published. He's trying to save the black race from itself by calling out idiotic "anti-racist" government policies that harm everyone, including blacks.

Anyone with common sense knows that letting a kid get away with bad behavior is an open invitation to worse behavior in the future. Punishing a kid for misbehavior in school when he is 10 years old may reduce the chances that he will have to be sent to prison when he is 20 years old.

Other schools in other cities, which have also caved under pressure from the federal government, and agreed to lighten up on black kids who misbehave, have reported an increase in misbehavior, including violence.

Who would have thought otherwise?

Letting kids who are behavior problems in schools grow up to become hoodlums and then criminals is no favor to them or to the black community. Moreover, it takes no more than a small fraction of troublemakers in a class to make it impossible to give that class a decent education. And for many poor people, whether black or white, education is their one big chance to escape poverty.

The people in the Obama administration who are pushing this counterproductive policy are not stupid. They are political, which is worse. They know what they are doing and they are willing to sacrifice young blacks to do it.

This punishment issue made me think back to the 8th grade, when I was punished by being kept after school, more often than any other kid in the class — black, white, Hispanic or whatever. I was bored in school and did various pranks to liven things up.

One day, after school, as I sat alone among the empty chairs in the classroom, the teacher said, sarcastically: “Well, here we are again, Sowell, just the two of us!”

“Good grief, Miss Sharoff,” I said. “If we keep staying in after school together all the time, people will begin to talk.”

“We will just have to live with the scandal,” she said, without even looking up from the papers she was correcting.

Thank heaven there was no Obama administration to exempt me from punishment. Who knows how I might have ended up?

Years ago, there was a study of a working class community where there were black, Hispanic and Italian kids, and where many of the cops were Italian. When a black or Hispanic kid broke the law, the police took him down to the station and booked him. But, if an Italian kid did the same thing, they reacted differently.

The Italian cop would take the Italian kid out into an alley and rough him up. Then he would take him home to his family, tell them what had happened and leave him there — where the kid could expect another beating, instead of the wrist-slap punishment of the law. Those cops understood the realities of life that politicians ignore. And they were doing a favor to their own.

No Matter How Often Liberals Repeat The Excuse, The Legacy of Slavery Isn’t the Problem with Black America

Thomas Sowell is a conservative thinker, widely published.

Thomas Sowell is a conservative thinker, widely published.

Dr. Thomas Sowell explains why the “legacy of slavery” explanation for black dysfunction is nothing but liberal nonsense with no evidence to back it up. He blames the legacy of liberalism.

While I do not agree with Dr. Sowell completely, I am publishing his most recent article here in its entirety. My beef with Professor Sowell is that he ignores the genetics of African-Americans, the low average IQ and the poorly developed frontal lobes of the brain that make many of these creatures ill-suited to live among civilized people. Their low average IQ and resulting lack of self control, along with evidence that the violence gene is prevalent in blacks, is the real problem, according to the evidence I’ve seen.

Lew Rockwell

Supreme Court Justice Oliver Wendell Holmes said there were “phrases that serve as an excuse for not thinking.” One of these phrases that substitute for thought today is one that depicts the current problems of blacks in America as “a legacy of slavery.”

New York Times writer Nicholas Kristof asserts that there is “overwhelming evidence that centuries of racial subjugation still shape inequity in the 21st century” and he mentions “the lingering effects of slavery.” But before we become overwhelmed, that evidence should be checked out.

The evidence offered by Mr. Kristof in the November 16th issue of the New York Times seems considerably short of overwhelming, to put it charitably. He cites a study showing that “counties in America that had a higher proportion of slaves in 1860 are still more unequal today.” Has he never heard statisticians’ repeated warnings that correlation is not causation?

The South long remained a region that blacks fled by the millions — for very good reasons. But, in more recent years, the net migration of blacks has been from the North to the South. No doubt they have good reasons for that as well.

But there is no reason to believe that blacks today are unaware of the history of slavery or of the Jim Crow era in the South. Indeed, there are black “leaders” who seem to talk about nothing else. Yet blacks who are moving back to the South seem more concerned with the present and the future than with the past.

Kristof’s other “overwhelming” evidence of the current effects of past slavery is that blacks do not have as much income as whites. But Puerto Ricans do not have as much income as Japanese Americans. Mexican Americans do not have as much income as Cuban Americans. All sorts of people do not have as much income as all sorts of other people, not only in the United States, but in countries around the world. And most of these people were never enslaved.

Statistics: The Black Genetic Propensity To Violence and Obama’s Anti-White Mindset

police line

Showing a genetic propensity for violence? Of course.

The single group the 2011 FBI crime statistics say are responsible for:
55.6% of all Robbery
49.7% of Murders
33.6% of all Aggravated Assaults
32.9% of Forcible Rapes

This group is only 3% of the total US population. REPEAT 3%

Black males aged 15- 34, the main perpetrators are only 3% of the total US population, see any pattern here, or is that racist?

‘I ceased to advertise my mother’s race at the age of 12 or 13, when I began to suspect that by doing so I was ingratiating myself to whites.’ – Barack Obama

‘I found a solace in nursing a pervasive sense of grievance and animosity against my mother’s race.’ – Barack Obama

‘There was something about him that made me wary, a little too sure of himself, maybe. And white.’ – Barack Obama

‘It remained necessary to prove which side you were on, to show your loyalty to the black masses, to strike out and name names.’ – Barack Obama

I am so over this racist bastard.
