Asswipe Stephen Colbert’s Anti-Trump Nagger and Ju Fest Opening Song (Video)

The sound is too low, but the hate for traditional white Christian America comes across loud and clear.

Four minutes of asswipe Colbert is four minutes too many.

Stephen Colbert kicked off this years Emmy Awards with a musical number that paid tribute to the greatest shows on television (with plenty of not-so-subtle jabs at President Trump).

The Emmy host was challenged by Blackish star Anthony Anderson and Mom star Allison Janney that he couldn’t sing about how television has never been better. And it was a challenged accepted.

Colbert sang that despite the troubles that exist in the world, the world is better on TV.

Veep‘s Julia Louis-Dreyfus made a musical cameo, singing “Imagine if your president was not belonged to Nazis.”

Colbert appeared with Keri Russell and Matthew Rhys of The Americans, singing how their show had “hotter spies” than the real-life “Russia inquiry” accompanied by an image of Trump’s meeting with Russia President Vladimir Putin.

“Even treason’s better on TV,” they sang together.

Other cameos included Millie Bobby Brown of Stranger Things, Chrissy Metz, Sterling K. Brown, and Justin Hartley of This is Us, Tony Hale of Veep, and a politically-charged appearance by Chance The Rapper.

Bonus video: Colbert’s opening monologue:

Not funny! But watching an audience of fellow asswipes yucking it up with every cheap, unfunny joke is amusing. It was good to see the real Sean Spicer at the end.
