It was only a couple of days ago that news of Jeremy Meeks’ romance with Jewish billionaire heiress Chloe Green broke through the news clutter to become a worldwide news sensation. The Negroid appearing Meeks had left his white wife and children to take up with an international playgirl. What a story!
Alas for the press, which glamorizes Meeks as a role model, will have to settle for less now that he’s back in California, with no playgirl girlfriend in tow.
‘Hot felon’ Jeremy Meeks isn’t quite living the billionaire lifestyle yet as he was pictured sorting his own luggage out when he arrived back in Los Angeles.
The model had been living the dream on a yacht in Turkey over the weekend, with heiress Chloe Green announcing their relationship on her (now-deleted) Instagram page.
Her father, fashion mogul Sir Philip, said on Monday that he wouldn’t be ‘getting involved’ in his daughter’s relationship with the married father.
The 32-year-old, who has been rubbing shoulders with Hollywood stars since his release from prison after his mugshot went viral.
Defiant Chloe shared a photograph of herself and her new lover on her page, along with the caption: ‘Just the beginning. We appreciate all the love and all the hate’.
The page is now deleted after a barrage of criticism with some labelling Green a ‘homewrecker’, while others vowed to boycott her father’s store – Topshop.
It is thought that the pair met in May at the Cannes Film Festival.
The Telegraph concisely gives the lowdown on Meeks.
Mr Meeks, 32, from Stockton in California, was jailed for two years in 2014 for possession of a semi-automatic pistol. Reports claim he has been “in and out of courtrooms most of his life” for a range of offences including resisting arrest, negligent driving and identity theft. He was once arrested in 2002, according to the gossip website TMZ, for beating a 16-year-old boy “to a pulp”.
Local police described him as “one of the most violent criminals” in the area. Mr Meeks insists he has turned his life around.
His last prison sentence was the making of him; or at least the publication of his mugshot was. The photograph of Mr Meeks went viral. He was dubbed the ‘Blue Eyed bandit’ or else the “Hot Criminal” and on his release a modelling contract, said to be worth a six-figure sum, followed.
Mr Meeks is thought to have met Miss Green at Cannes film festival, where he was promoting £70 boxer shorts, inevitably stripped to the waist and showing off impressive tattoos that includes the name of the notorious gang of which he was once a member.
How long before Meeks goes back to his old criminal ways? Will his girlfriend patiently wait for him while he serves his sentence. For that matter, will his wife be there with the girlfriend?
