Sheriff Joe Guilty of Contempt of Court, Facing Six Years in Prison at Age 85

Sheriff Joe Arpaio was an obstacle to the New World Order. He had to be removed in a high profile way. There’s nothing like a contempt of court charge that leads to a trial to achieve that objective.

Numerous efforts to smear the tough on crime lawman had failed in the past. Now, they’ve got the senior citizen exactly where they want him.

CBS News

PHOENIX — Former Sheriff Joe Arpaio was convicted of a criminal charge Monday for refusing to stop traffic patrols that targeted immigrants, marking a final rebuke for a politician who once drew strong popularity from such crackdowns but was ultimately booted from office as voters became frustrated over his headline-grabbing tactics and deepening legal troubles.

The verdict from U.S. District Judge Susan Bolton represents a victory for critics who voiced anger over Arpaio’s controversial efforts to get tough on crime, including jailing inmates in tents during triple-digit heat, forcing them to wear pink underwear and making hundreds of arrests in crackdowns that divided immigrant families.

Arpaio, who spent 24 years as the sheriff of metro Phoenix, skirted two earlier criminal investigations of his office. But he wasn’t able to avoid legal problems when he prolonged his signature immigration patrols for nearly a year and a half after a different judge ordered him to stop. That judge later ruled the policies racially profiled Latinos.

The lawman who made defiance a hallmark of his tenure was found guilty of misdemeanor contempt-of-court for ignoring the 2011 court order to stop the patrols. The 85-year-old faces up to six years in jail, though attorneys who have followed the case doubt that someone his age would be incarcerated for this crime.

Critics hoped Arpaio’s eight-day trial in federal court in Phoenix would bring a long-awaited comeuppance for a lawman who had managed to escape accountability through much of his six terms.

Prosecutors say Arpaio violated the order so he could promote his immigration enforcement efforts in an effort to boost his 2012 re-election campaign and even bragged about his continued crackdowns.

He had acknowledged prolonging his patrols but insisted it was not intentional.

He blamed one of his former attorneys in the profiling case for not properly explaining the importance of the court order. His defense also focused on what his attorneys said were weaknesses in the court order that failed to acknowledge times when deputies would detain immigrants and later hand them over to federal authorities.

Unlike other local police leaders who left immigration enforcement to U.S. authorities, Arpaio made hundreds of arrests in traffic patrols that sought out immigrants and business raids in which his officers targeted immigrants who used fraudulent IDs to get jobs.

The efforts are similar to local immigration enforcement that President Trump has advocated. To build his highly touted deportation force, Mr. Trump is reviving a long-standing program that deputizes local officers to enforce federal immigration law.

Arpaio’s immigration powers were eventually stripped away by the courts and federal government.

The contempt-of-court case marked the first time federal authorities had prosecuted Arpaio on a criminal charge, though his office had been the subject of past investigations.

Federal authorities had looked into Arpaio’s misspending of $100 million in jail funds and his criminal investigations of political enemies. Neither investigation led to prosecution of the sheriff or his employees.

Arpaio’s criminal charges are believed to have contributed heavily to his crushing defeat in November to little-known retired Phoenix police Sgt. Paul Penzone.

Arpaio was ousted in the same election that sent Mr. Trump to the White House. Mr. Trump used some of the same immigration rhetoric that helped make Arpaio a national figure in the debate over the U.S.-Mexico border.

I expect Sheriff Joe to appeal his conviction. I think he can remain free on bond while the conviction is appealed, a process that could take a year or two.

The Mooch Out: Defections from Trump Mounting

Anthony Scaramucci, the high profile White House Communications Director who was appointed to his post just 10 days ago, has been forced to resign.

Trump supporter, the equally high profile Mike Cernovich, has within the last 20 minutes published at least 1,000 Tweets and Retweets on the so-called resignation. (How is that possible?) There’s disappointment galore in Trump today, although some think Trump is playing 8D chess.

First, the authoritative version of the story, then the reaction to the news.

Wall Street Journal

WASHINGTON—Anthony Scaramucci was removed from his position as White House communications director, just 10 days after his appointment to the post.

Mr. Scaramucci, who is nicknamed “The Mooch,” was removed at the urging of former Marine Corps Gen. John Kelly, who was sworn in as White House chief of staff Monday morning. Mr. Kelly is seeking to impose more discipline in the White House, two administration officials said.

After the swearing-in ceremony—which Mr. Scaramucci attended—Mr. Kelly returned to his office, where he informed Mr. Scaramucci in a one-on-one meeting that he was being forced to resign, a White House official said.

Mr. Scaramucci is expected to retain his position at the U.S. Export-Import Bank, a White House official said, which he asked to keep when he gave his resignation.

In a statement, White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders confirmed that Mr. Scaramucci would be leaving his role as communications director. “Mr. Scaramucci felt it was best to give Chief of Staff John Kelly a clean slate and the ability to build his own team,” she said.

Mr. Scaramucci didn’t return a call seeking comment.

The move comes four days after the New Yorker magazine published an expletive-filled interview with Mr. Scaramucci, in which the Wall Street financier attacked other top staffers in the White House, including Mr. Kelly’s predecessor Reince Priebus.

Mr. Scaramucci had told fellow White House officials in recent days that he knew it was a possibility that his New Yorker interview could result in him being ousted, said two people familiar with the conversation. But in a White House that has driven an unceasing news cycle for much of the past six months, with one breaking news story quickly overshadowing the last, Mr. Scaramucci told colleagues that he thought it might blow over.

Mr. Scaramucci—who had reported directly to President Donald Trump while Mr. Priebus was chief of staff—had told the president on Sunday that he wanted to report to Mr. Kelly, according to a Republican close to the White House. But Mr. Kelly felt the communications director was unable to be a “team player” and found his comments about his colleagues unbecoming, the person said.

Mr. Scaramucci’s press team was given 15 minutes notice on Monday to report to the office of Ms. Sanders, who informed them of the change, said two people who attended the meeting.

The communications staff of about 40 people received a similarly urgent notice last week when they were told that Mr. Scaramucci was joining the communications office, and that Sean Spicer, then the press secretary, was quitting. Mr. Spicer opposed Mr. Scaramucci’s hiring and decided to step down when he was added to the White House.

As Ms. Sanders spoke to the press team on Monday, a few feet away from her was Mr. Spicer, said two people familiar with the meeting. Mr. Spicer has been helping with the transition and hasn’t completely moved out of the office. White House counselor Kellyanne Conway and Hope Hicks, director of strategic communications, also attended the meeting and encouraged staff to stay focused on the work, one of the people said.

As news of the ouster emerged, Mr. Kelly sat in the White House’s East Room for a planned Medal of Honor ceremony. The chief of staff chatted with Treasury Secretary Steven Mnuchin ahead of the ceremony and appeared in good spirits.

Top advisers to Mr. Trump, including his son-in-law, Jared Kushner, were supportive of Mr. Kelly’s move, according to a White House official.

Mr. Scaramucci is the fourth White House official to depart in the past 10 days. Mr. Priebus’s ouster was announced in a tweet from the president on Friday. Mr. Spicer announced his resignation a week earlier in protest of the hiring of Mr. Scaramucci. And Michael Short, a senior press assistant, resigned on Tuesday, hours after Mr. Scaramucci said he planned to fire him.

Mr. Scaramucci was the administration’s second official communications director. Mike Dubke, who previously held the post, resigned in May.

In a tweet sent early Monday morning, Mr. Trump touted what he said were his economic accomplishments in the White House so far, and wrote: “No WH chaos!”

White House officials had spent the weekend anticipating further shuffling, as Mr. Kelly took control of an often-turbulent West Wing.

One concern that may now be alleviated: Mr. Scaramucci’s vow last week to fire the entire communications office if he couldn’t determine which officials were leaking to the media.

Some Tweets critical of Trump’s treatment of The Mooch:

And some saying The Mooch needed to go:

You have to question Trump’s judgement in hiring Mooch to begin with. It’s clear that with him in charge, the chaos would have been a marvel. Sometimes chaos is good because it means things are being shook up. But at this point into his presidency, there needs to be less drama.

Times Square Nude “Performers” Going Wild Under DeBlasio Because They’re Illegals

Tacky Times Square is a zoo again. After it was cleaned up under Rudy Giuliani, it’s back to being a cesspool of petty grifters.

According to this article the police would be violating Mayor Bill de Blasio’s hands off policy toward illegal immigrants if they enforced the laws designed to keep an orderly environment in the area.

The (almost) naked women of Times Square are alleged to be mostly illegal immigrants. They have a distinctly Latin look about them so it’s probably true, as New York City is a so-called sanctuary city.

It wouldn’t come as any surprise if it turned out that the naked ladies are paying off the cops. Normally, you would phrase that as “bribing the cops to look the other way,” but with nipples and bottoms being paraded in front of police eyeballs, I’m not expecting that any of the men in blue would look the other way unless they were queer.

Excerpt from the New York Post

Meet the des-RUDE-as!

Costumed characters in Times Square are giving the finger to attempts to rein them in, refusing to stay in designated areas and continuing to curse in front of kiddies and threaten passers-by for dough.

Foul-mouthed desnudas, grabby Hulks and tourist-terrorizing gangs of Minnie Mice are still brazenly holding the Crossroads of the World hostage even amid a heavy presence of NYPD cops, who act oblivious to their disturbing antics.

At any given moment on two recent afternoons, only half of the two-dozen tip-mooching characters stayed behind the blue lines of Times Square’s “Designated Activity Zones,” or DAZs, the city-mandated areas created last year as their boundary for posing for photos and asking for tips.

Yet none of those who illegally strayed outside the zones were issued summonses by the half-dozen police patrolling the pedestrian plaza.

A law-enforcement source shrugged that the officers’ hands were tied since most of the costumed panhandlers are illegal — and under the de Blasio administration, it’s a no-no to go after them.

Mayor de Blasio signed the bill that created the DAZs.

The most shameless of the costumed pack repeatedly left the DAZs to grab, mob and berate tourists — “Take a photo lady! Mami!” shouted a trio of overly-aggressive Minnie Mice — in their frantic pursuit of cash.

“I told you, if you don’t have a tip, then f— off!” one star-spangled desnuda, a painted nude hustler, snarled to a Post reporter, displaying just the sort of greed that detractors say is ruining Times Square’s happy, family vibe.

Times Square Alliance President Tim Tompkins told The Post during a recent walk through the crowded pedestrian plaza, “Watch — the Hulk always goes and touches people.”

The superhero was well outside the DAZ at 47th Street and Broadway, getting tourists’ attention by running up to them and putting his bulky green arm around their shoulders.

“The Hulk drives me crazy,” Tompkins said.

At 46th Street and Seventh Avenue, a trio of polka-dotted Minnie Mice were working in tandem.

The first Minnie would crash a tourist’s selfie or run up to a child, arms outstretched. Once the first Minnie was in the picture, the others would rush in.

“Suddenly, there’s three Minnies in your picture,” Tomkins said. “And a Batman, and a Spider-Man. And they all want cash. And they’re all outside the zone.

“It’s a total f—ing scam, and it happens thousands of times a week,” he said, clearly frustrated.

“It’s those same three f—ing Minnie Mouses.”

Several weeks ago, Times Square Alliance staffers observed the DAZs between 45th and 47th streets from 4 to 9 p.m., the organization said.

Twenty costumed characters were at work. Of their 418 character-initiated encounters, 67 percent occurred outside a DAZ, the Alliance said.

The characters walked away with tips in fewer than half — 43 percent — of the interactions.

Nearly every interaction, 88 percent, involved the character touching the member of the public.

“They are very aggressive,” Tashay Carter, 30, from Birmingham, Ala., complained.

“I just encountered that with Cookie Monster. I didn’t want to get a photo, and he or she or whoever it was, they were very aggressive with me.”

It looks like some kind of primitive third world ceremonial ritual. Where’s the witch doctor with a bone in his nose?

Men Reveal How They Were Forced to Have Sex with Women

Since I was forced to have sex with two different students at the university, 15 years apart, the subject of female on male “rape” (not recognized by law as rape) interests me. Like the males in this study, I did not report the crimes to police nor did I disclose them to family or friends.

A survey of men who say they have been forced to have sex by a woman claims blackmail and threats were the most common methods used.

A research project of 154 men ‘compelled to penetrate’ a woman found more than a fifth of them were forced into it by threats and blackmail.

Telling lies, threats to end a relationship, warnings of rumour-spreading and verbal abuse were cited by 22% of men in the survey.

The research project, led by Dr Siobhan Weare, from Lancaster University Law School, and supported by charity Survivors Manchester, also found the use of force, such as pinning down with bodyweight or having a weapon, was reported by 14% of men who completed the survey.

The project aimed to explore one of the ‘last taboos’ – sexual violence by women against men.

Dr Weare said: ‘Whilst the sample size of 154 may be smaller than typically expected, this must be considered in the context of an issue that is under-reported and under-discussed, and that this is the first and only survey of its kind to be conducted in the UK.

‘The ‘hidden’ nature of this crime and the ‘complex’ gender dynamics involved means that huge numbers of survey participants were highly unlikely – not because this isn’t happening to men, but because many are made to feel too ashamed or feel too distressed to report it.’

Dr Weare said it was difficult to know the prevalence of forced-to-penetrate cases in the UK, but research in the US in 2010 found that approximately one in 21 men reported being ‘made to penetrate’ someone else during their lifetime, with 79% of cases involving a female perpetrator.

She added: ‘The term “forced to penetrate” has been coined for these cases because, while they involve non-consensual penile penetration, they do not fall under the offence of rape.

‘The offence of rape can only be committed by men due to the requirement of penile penetration of the victim. In “forced to penetrate” cases, the offender is the one being penetrated by a non-consenting victim.’

All 154 of the UK male survey participants had experienced compelled penetration.

The men shared their most recent experience of being forced to penetrate a woman, as well as their engagement with the criminal justice system, how they would label what had happened to them, whether they had experienced multiple victimisation, and emotional and psychological harms.

The majority of the participants who completed the survey reported that they knew the woman, often as an acquaintance or a friend, and just over half were in, or had been in, a relationship with the perpetrator.

Only two men said that they had reported their experience to the police and in both instances the case did not make it to court.

‘Rape’ was the most frequent label used by the participants in describing their ordeal, despite the law not recognising such cases in this way.

‘Sex’ was used least frequently.

The vast majority, 80% of them, did not disclose their experience to family or friends and 74% had not sought support, suggesting that men are left feeling isolated and alone in dealing with their experiences.

One of the women who assaulted me was a fat feminist who hid her hatred of men very well. The other was a woman who wanted to be my girlfriend. She too was not anyone that most men would enjoy having sex with.

Although some men’s fantasies about women raping them may be good, the actual situation isn’t.

“Teens” Targeted White College Students to Rob, Kidnap

The sheriff who hauled in the three Negro suspects is Leon Lott. He’s been featured on this site before in relation to firing a white deputy who was doing his job well in taking down an uncooperative dindu female.

In short, Sheriff Lott is what the old timers in the south called a “Nigger lover.” There were several posts on Lott’s earlier fame published on this site, including this one.

It must pain Lott to have to preside over a case in which three dindu teens have made national news because of their targeting of white college students to rob. While none of us are on the ground in South Carolina to observe Lott, it’s not difficult to imagine him coddling black thugs in order to win the black vote.

COLUMBIA, S.C. (WACH) — A third arrest has been made in connection with a string of robberies and kidnapping targeting Columbia-area college students.

A 15-year-old juvenile was arrested Friday morning, according to Sgt. Brittany Jackimonis of the Richland County Sheriff’s Department.

Dating back to July 3, Sheriff Leon Lott says there have been seven separate incidents of armed robberies including carjacking and kidnapping along Bluff and Shop Road.

Another 15-year-old juvenile and 17-year-old Raquan Green are accused in a series of crimes Lott says are racially motivated.

Newspaper Columnist FIRED for Noticing Jews Higher Pay

Sky News

The Sunday Times has sacked a columnist in Ireland who sparked controversy with comments about high-profile women at the BBC.

Kevin Myers said that two of the best-paid female presenters, Claudia Winkleman and Vanessa Feltz, were Jewish in an article about the gender pay gap at the Corporation.

The paper’s editor Martin Ivens said the remarks in Sunday’s Irish edition were not acceptable and should never have been published.

A spokesperson later said Mr Myers would not be writing for the paper again.

The spokesperson said: “We can confirm that Kevin Myers will not write again for The Sunday Times Ireland.

“A printed apology will appear in next week’s paper.”

Mr Ivens said earlier: “It has been taken down and we sincerely apologise, both for the remarks and the error of judgement that led to publication.”

Mr Myers has penned a number of outspoken columns for various newspapers in the Republic of Ireland and Northern Ireland for many years.

Writing that Ms Winkleman and Ms Feltz are Jewish he said: “Good for them. Jews are not generally noted for their insistence on selling their talent for the lowest possible price, which is the most useful measure there is of inveterate, lost-with-all-hands stupidity.”

Mr Myers also argued that men usually work harder, get sick less frequently and seldom get pregnant.

The article only appeared in the Irish edition.

Ireland Editor of the Sunday Times Frank Fitzgibbon said the column contained views that had caused considerable distress and upset to a number of people.

“As the editor of the Ireland edition, I take full responsibility for this error of judgement.

“This newspaper abhors anti-Semitism and did not intend to cause offence to Jewish people.”

Before Mr Myers was sacked, the Campaign Against Anti-Semitism had asked for confirmation that Mr Myers would never again work for a News UK title and asked for an apology.

Bill Gates Calls on Europe to Shut Down Open Door Policy that Welcomes African Migrants

Has Bill Gates visited Chimpmania? Amren? Saboteur365?

Something has turned him into a race realist and maybe even a white nationalist.

Whatever has changed his mind about opening up Europe to Africans, he’s changed his mind. Let’s hope it stays changed.

Better yet, let’s hope he decides to do something better with his money than cure African diseases.

Europe’s generosity motivates more migrants to leave Africa – Bill Gates

Billionaire philanthropist Bill Gates has called on the European Union to reconsider its open-door policy of welcoming migrants as it motivates many more to leave Africa.

He said this week during an interview with a German media that European countries should take measures to make it more difficult for migrants to leave Africa through the current transit routes.

“On the one hand you want to demonstrate generosity and take in refugees, but the more generous you are, the more word gets around about this – which in turn motivates more people to leave Africa,” the Microsoft founder said.

Gates also advised Germany, which has an open door policy that it “cannot take in the huge, massive number of people who are wanting to make their way to Europe.”

He rather called for an increase in foreign aid while praising Germany for donating 0.7 percent of its GDP in that regard.

This stance of Bill Gates is a reverse of what he previously advocated for. Last year, he called on the United States to learn from Germany and Sweden and open its doors for migrants.

The 61-year-old has a foundation that invests a lot of money in Africa to fight poverty and diseases among others.

According to the International Organization for Migration (IOM), 3,314 people reached Spain by sea between 1 January and 30 April.

More than a half million migrants have poured into Italy since 2014, but most of them have paid far less to Libya-based smugglers (usually between $800 and $1,300) to board overcrowded and unseaworthy boats for a voyage that often ends in tragedy.

The European Commission announced 35 million euros ($40 million) in extra cash for Rome in response to Italian demands that its neighbours share more of the burden of handling thousands of migrants coming by boat every week.

It also set out a list of other measures for EU ministers to discuss on Thursday including beefing up Libya’s coastal rescue services to curb the number of people picked up close to shore by international charities.
