Inspirational Quote of the Day: One About Resisting Tyranny

Ezra Taft Benson (August 4, 1899 – May 30, 1994) was an American farmer, government official, and religious leader who served as the 15th United States Secretary of Agriculture during both presidential terms of Dwight D. Eisenhower and as the thirteenth president of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church) from 1985 until his death in 1994.

Benson’s interest in politics could be seen in the subjects he chose for his biannual addresses at General Conference. In 1967, for example, he asked David O. McKay for permission to speak on “how the Communists are using the Negros to … foment trouble in the United States”.

Benson was an outspoken opponent of communism and socialism, and a supporter, but not a member, of the John Birch Society, which he praised as “the most effective non-church organization in our fight against creeping socialism and Godless Communism.”[6] He published a 1966 pamphlet entitled “Civil Rights, Tool of Communist Deception”.[7] In a similar vein, during a 1972 general conference of the LDS Church, Benson recommended that all members of the church read Gary Allen’s New World Order tract “None Dare Call it A Conspiracy”

    • I went & read the comment & DEPORTATION-of-US article/opinion that Flanders is referring to, by NYT columnist Bret Stephens, dated 6/16/17. Surprisingly, he doesn’t really look Jewish in his twitter ID photo @BretStephensNYT, except maybe for big lips:

Wiki confirms he’s a neocon anti-Trumper, & that… “His parents were both secular Jews. His paternal grandfather had changed the family surname from Ehrlich to Stephens (after poet James Stephens). He was raised in Mexico City, where his father was born and worked.” So no wonder he is anti-natural-Americans & is pro-immigration.

Back to the Stephens’ article, the HUGE “white elephant” that he IGNORED in his derogatory article is that EVERYTHING he is complaining about (re NON-immigrant Americans) was brought about PRECISELY by (((THEM)))!

Yet he has he audacity to end his “opinion” with this:

“Because I’m the child of immigrants and grew up abroad, I have always thought of the United States as a country that belongs first to its newcomers — the people who strain hardest to become a part of it because they realize that it’s precious; and who do the most to remake it so that our ideas, and our appeal, may stay fresh.

“That used to be a cliché, but in the Age of Trump it needs to be explained all over again. We’re a country of immigrants — by and for them, too. Americans who don’t get it should get out.”

Um, NO. We’re not going anywhere & how utterly arrogant of you to even suggest such a thing.

  1. Here is another good quote for you, Paladin, and while you are there you may want to check out the post on, “Central Europe stands united against mass illegal migration”.

“Nothing but our native land can give us a home”

“Nothing can substitute for or replace the nation states, including Hungary, “nothing but our native land can give us a home”, Defence Minister István Simicskó said at the oath-taking ceremony held in Szentendre after the completion of the basic training of the contingent of soldiers contracted for a fixed term.” – [RECOMMENDED] Photos: Gergely Botár/

  2. Benson certainly had a LONG life, 95 years, so he got a head-start clearly seeing the Communist agenda unfolding & he describes it perfectly. Yet when he died in 1994, it still wasn’t quite yet so IN YOUR FACE as it is today with the internet & corrupt media, etc. Even he might be shocked if he were still with us.

  3. Start getting spun-up to lay waste in your path fellow berserkers. Getting my affairs in order. Better to go out in a blaze of glory than pissing/sh*tting yourself in your death-bed.

  4. “God intended men to be free”.
Does that apply to the freedom of young, violent African men and Mohammedan men to invade my country and your country and not one potshot is taken at them? The white police arrest all those whites who complain as “haters”.
