Delta Airlines Cancels Sponsorship of So-Called Shakespearean Play Depicting Trump Assassination

A modernized version of Shakespeare’s Julius Caesar has the lead character, modeled after American president Donald Trump, assassinated.

The goal of this so-called art is to incite a leftist nut job to actually go out and assassinate the President of the United States.

I don’t recall any publicly funded organization advocating the murder of President Barack Obama. Conservatives, libertarians, the alt-light, and the alt-right are far more responsible than that.

What some of us do advocate is that Obama, Hillary, et. al., be prosecuted for their crimes and if found guilty be appropriately punished.

Delta Air Lines announced Sunday it is revoking its sponsorship of this year’s “Shakespeare in the Park” play in New York City that appears to depict the assassination of President Trump.

“Shakespeare in the Park does not reflect Delta Air Lines’ values. Their artistic and creative direction crossed the line on the standards of good taste. We have notified them of our decision to end sponsorship as the official airline of The Public Theater effective immediately,” Delta wrote on Twitter Sunday. The Public Theater is the company putting on the Shakespeare in the Park production.

The main character in this production of “Julius Caesar” is President Trump — he has blondish hair and is dressed similar to Trump. The lead actress in the play portrays first lady Melania Trump and has a Slavic accent like the real-life first lady.

The Trump lookalike is assassinated during the play.

The Public Theatre’s website describes the play as being about the fragility of democracy.

The theater’s other corporate sponsors include the Bank of America, New York Times and American Express. The majority of the theater’s funding comes from private donors.

Later on Sunday, Bank of America announced it too is pulling its sponsorship, according to the New York Times.

This piece notes that women and minorities kill Trump in the play. It also quotes Donald Junior:
