Baby faced killer Dylann Roof has a new home in Mike Pence’s home state.
Recall that his sentencing he had no desire to fight the death penalty.
Unlike the dishonorable thugs who drag out their stay on death row for 20 years, which we complain about here, DyRo will probably be executed relatively quickly. The feds will be anxious to make an example of a racist.
Dylann Roof, the self-avowed white supremacist who killed nine black parishioners in a massacre at Charleston’s Emanuel AME Church, is now on federal death row.
Prison records show Roof was being housed at the United States Penitentiary in Terre Haute, Indiana as of Saturday morning. The facility is where federal death row inmates are housed and executed.
Roof was transferred Friday afternoon from the Al Cannon Detention Center in North Charleston, where he had been held since his arrest after the June 2015 church shooting.
The move came 11 days after the 23-year-old pleaded guilty to nine counts of murder in state court and received life sentences without parole, effectively wrapping up local court proceedings in his prosecution.
The U.S. Marshals Service took custody of the convicted killer from Eastover around 1:15 p.m. Friday, according to jail records and confirmation from Lt. Rita Avila Zelinsky of the Charleston County Sheriff’s Office.
A jury in December convicted Roof on 33 federal charges, including hate crimes, and sentenced him to death.
Roof is now the 63rd inmate awaiting execution on federal death row. The last federal execution was carried out in 2003.
Although we have given DyRo no support in the past, at this point in time, whites should think about softening their position. Not to support his criminal acts, but to support his mental health while being held in prison. A Bible, a candy bar, an encouraging note–I don’t know what would be best for him, but certainly blacks on death row receive all sorts of support from civil rights, anti-death penalty liberals.
Shouldn’t conservatives also support, within limits, a young, stupid white boy?
