  1. He may have also been lucky to to have been a most unattractive man to beautiful young women. He knew it and loved tormenting them in his movies. The Birds is a good example of this. Hitch had a wife who stuck by him and did a lot of the work. He did well for such an ugly guy to find a wife at all.

    God seems to hand out curses as well as gifts to the most talented geniuses. Beethoven and Vincent van Gogh were also deeply unpopular with attractive women.

    Funny to think that women would rather have sex with an ugly rich man than perhaps the most talented musical genius who has ever lived. Beethoven and van Gogh were both “unfit” for genetic survival in Darwinian terms. They lacked “charm” which women demand as essential, plus that bullshit term “chemistry”.

    Beethoven was trying to punch above his weight in the love battle. He thought his van was as good as a von. He thought wrong.
