A two and a half minute lecture explains why hatred empowers you.

One thing Kai is wrong about is his claim that animals cannot hate. I’ve seen some dogs who hate a particular dog with a strong passion and energy.

  1. Birds hate, or seem to.
    Birds are the most vicious animals there are, and they murder each other quite often – especially if confined to cages which limits escape opportunities or the ability to simply drive the offender off.

    Darwin wrote about this. If a bird with a better song was introduced, others might get jealous and kill him, even ganging up to remove the target of their hatred.

    Was it real, actual hate? Not sure, but it looks like it.
