White Baseball Player Apologizes for “ill worded” Tweet About Obama, Charlotte Riot

STEVE CLEVENGER. CRITICIZED THE GROUP THAT MUST NOT BE CRITICIZED.

The Tweets that may result in a white baseball player being banned from baseball would offend a large number of blacks and whites who are of the liberal political persuasion. About half of America would agree with them and the other half disagree, I judge.

KOMO News

SEATTLE — Some things are better left un-tweeted.
The Seattle Mariners have responded after a racially-charged tweet was made by backup catcher Steve Clevenger.

The third-string catcher is in hot water after tweeting about officer-involved shootings, President Obama and the Black Lives Matter movement.

“The Seattle Mariners are very disappointed at the tweets posted on Steve Clevenger’s account. While he is certainly free to express himself, his tweets do not in any way represent the opinions of the Seattle Mariners. We strongly disagree with the language and tone of his comments,” the Mariners’ statement read.

“We are currently examining all internal options that are available to us as we determine appropriate next steps. We will have no further comment at this time.”

In the tweet, Clevenger calls the Black Lives Matter movement “pathetic,” and says “Obama you are pathetic once again!”

“Everyone involved should be locked up like animals,” Clevenger’s tweet read.

The now-deleted tweets were screen captured from his now-protected account, and shared on Twitter.

The tweet follows controversial events in Charlotte, North Carolina, where the fatal shooting of 43-year-old Keith Lamont Scott by a police officer is being investigated, and protested.

Clevenger issued a statement through his agent Thursday night, apologizing to the Seattle Mariners, the fans, his family and the game for, “the distraction” his tweets caused. He went on to say he was, “sickened by the idea anyone would think of [him] in racist terms,” and “I just ask that the public not judge me because of an ill worded tweet.”

Actually, BLM isn’t pathetic, it’s a Communist terrorist group.

Which is worse? Black millionaire football players kneeling for the National Anthem or a few words in a Tweet?

According to liberals, kneeling is a courageous protest, but Tweeting mild criticism of blacks is racist.

Which is why the USSA is an insane asylum now, very much like Stalinist Russia.

  1. Hes toast. Welcome to your version of the 1st amendment my friend…in other words, YOU [and I ] have none.

MLB sux – boycott all ‘professional’ sports.

  2. you know it is sad when the athletes don’t support the people that support them. we as black people do not support each other,Colin took action and we criticized him for standing up for what he believes is right.
if it was whites being shot down the way the blacks are being shot down they would get action and it would be investigated and justified.
we need people like colin Kaepernick to take a stand for his people , look at how our young black males looked up to Michel Jordan / Julius Ervin / Rick Fox/ The admiral /Doug Williams /Terrence Howard / Will Smith / Morris Chestnut/ Smoke Robinson / Oprah Winfrey / T.D.Jakes / Ty Tribbet ,WAKE UP BLACK AMERICA AND TAKE A STAND FOR JUSTISCIS IS BLIND WHEN WE REFUSED TO TAKE A STAND FOR WHAT IS RIGHT WE WERE RAISED ON BETTER VALUES ‘AT ONE TIME WE BELIEVED IN GOD AND OUR FELLOW MAN BUT NOW WE HAV’ ‘
WE HAVE FORGOT HOW WE GOT WHAT WE HAVE.& WHERE WE COME FROM .
YOU CAN MARRY EVERY WHITE GIRL / WHITE BOY YOU WANT TO THAT WILL NOT CHANGE YOUR STATUS, COLOR, OR YOUR RATING ,
